The Ann Arbor Symphony will host a performance by Anton Shelepov and his Andiamo Quartet. Last year's concert of Piazzolla Tangos was such a smash, we've invited them to play again! A²SO violinist Shelepov is former assistant concertmaster of the Kremlin Chamber Orchestra and associate concertmaster of the St. Petersburg Mozarteum. Dessert is served at 1:30 pm followed at 2:00 pm by a one-hour concert.

Single tickets are available at the door for $8.

The program is as follows:
V. A. Mozart Adagio and Fugue in C-minor KV 546

A. Shelepov Suite for Strings in five movements
I. Waltz
II. Foxtrot
III. Tango
IV. Galop
V. Introduction and March

D. Shostakovich String Quartet No. 8 in C Minor, Op. 110
1. Largo
2. Allegro molto
3. Allegretto
4. Largo

5. Largo

The Afternoon Delights series (formerly known as Matinée Musicale) is a midday concert series for everyone, supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs, and Howard Ando & Jane Wilkinson in memory of Florence Ando.
