Children hear classical music, move and dance to the music, listen to a book and learn about the tuba with A²SO cellist Eric Amidon, early childhood educator Gari Stein and pianist Kathryn Goodson. The movements help children enjoy music in an active way that encourages learning and creativity.
Gari Stein is the founder and director of Music for Little Folks and a highly sought-after early childhood educator who has developed music and movement curriculum for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
Eric Amidon is cellist for the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra.
Sponsored by the Ann Arbor District Library, the Ypsilanti District Library, the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor, TCF Bank, David and Stephanie Pyne, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
