Other Concerts

The Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra is a part of the community. We work with the community and in the community to bring the best music of all time to all generations. This includes school concerts, UMS concerts, collaborative presentations, etc.

We perform with the UMS Choral Union in a concert of "The Messiah", which has become a city institution every December. This event along with other events that crop up during the year constitute a season in themselves. Look around for us, and you'll find us performing with other groups.

  This is part of our Orchestra 101 project with Pinckney Community Schools, in which the orchestra performs from the same stands as the school kids. Click here for info

• Songs of Israel's on her 60th - May 18, 2008, Michigan Theater
  Presented by Temple Beth Emeth and the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, this concert celebrates the 60th Anniversary of Israel's Statehood. Click here for info

• Messiah - December 6-7, 2008
  Presented by the University Musical Society and performed by the A²SO and the UMS Choral Union, this collaboration is a long-standing tradition between the groups. Conducted by the UMS Choral Union conductor. Click here for info
