The Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra is a part of the community. We work with the community and in the community to bring the best music of all time to all generations. We do everything from handing out flyers at the Art Fair, making appearances at the Ann Arbor Film Festival, attending Rotary and State Street Association meetings, and many other things.
We also host two fundraisers: Hearts for the Arts and String Fling. Below are links to the current season's special events:
We also host other regular events during the season. These include:
Concert Afterglows - These wine and hors d'oeuvres events take place after each Mainstage concert of the season at a location close to the Michigan Theater. The conductor and guest artist attend along with key donors and subscribers.
Season Finale Event - This is the big event of the concert season for key donors and subscribers. It takes place before the last concert of the Mainstage Series.
Volunteer Recognition Event - The A²SO is grateful to the numerous volunteers who make our operation run smoothly. Yearly, the Symphony hosts a volunteer recognition event for them.
