Meet Your Conductor Maestro Arie Lipsky visits your school talk about music and how it develops character, leadership, and strong communication skills. He can play the flute or cello for your students, conduct your orchestra, and share wisdom about a musical career. Open Dress Rehearsal Experience a professional orchestra rehearsal. Reservations are required. Space is limited. November 14: Brahms and Friends A sampling of some of the great composers for the student listener to explore. January 23: Mozart Birthday Bash A choral program featuring area high school singers in Mozart's Requiem. March 13: American Celebration An introduction to America' musical and cultural heritage. April 24: Musical Portraits A season finale concert synthesizing sound with sight. | |

String Instrument Petting Zoos Students are introduced to real violins and cellos, sized just for them! Shar Products generously donates instruments to bring to your classroom or day care center for a guided, hands-on experience. Students will learn the parts of the instruments, the basic techniques to hold, pluck, and bow the instruments, and be given the opportunity to play themselves. $50 per hour One hour minimum |
