Interesting Facts About the Composers and Countries on Our Program
Teacher Materials identify listening goals for each piece on the program and provide activities for students to achieve those goals. The materials are designed to be used by both music teachers and non-music teachers. For parents looking to work with their children using the Teacher Materials and Curriculum, recommended recordings are found within these pages.
The Curriculum covers the music that students heard at the A2SO Youth Concerts on March 1 and 2, 2005, as well as the March 6 Family Concert. In addition, they can be independent lessons for the future. The materials have been designed to educate and to encourage creativity among children, and are divided into units on each piece being played.
