Youth Concerts 2009
The current program for 2009 is not yet completed. In the Fall 2008, you will receive curriculum materials based on the Michigan Benchmark Standards plus a CD/Cassette to prepare your students for the youth concert experience.
The cost is $5/student and each school receives up to four free teacher tickets. Additional chaperone tickets are $5. One chaperone for every ten students expected. To upgrade from a teaching cassette to CD is $10. Teachers who sign up by November will be invited to a teacher workshop led by Arie Lipsky.

Williams > Star Wars
Strauss > Also sprach Zarathustra (from 2001:A Space Odyssey)
Holst > Highlights from "The Planets" (from The Right Stuff)
Martin > I Want to Be
Cost: $5/student, four free teacher tickets, $5/additional chaperone
