Your A²SO tells the tale of Babar, the Little Elephant as he leaves the jungle for the fast pace of city life. Babar’s story comes alive with the music of Poulenc and engaging narration. Then, listen to the masterpiece, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, a classical must-hear for all young listeners. The young apprentice tries some magic of his own, as told by Dukas’ powerful melodies. Finally, join in the fun as children take the stage to play “toys” in the beloved Kindersymphonie. This will be an afternoon of storytelling, music-making, and fun for the whole family.
